Hello Level Up Sports community!
My name is Santo Maertz, a former division 1 athlete and professional baseball player for the St. Louis Cardinals farm system and various independent teams.
I would like to take a few moments to speak about the Level Up Sports platform and its owners (Brian and Mike). As an athlete, I know how extremely difficult it is to get your name out to colleges. Going to showcases, sending videos and making phone calls are all avenues we’ve taken to get noticed, but which usually seem to get little to no response. It becomes very frustrating at times because we start to believe our dreams of playing college ball may never come true. With Level Up Sports, these arduous tasks become a distant past and contacting colleges/coaches is seamlessly possible at your finger tips. This allows a community consisting of all kinds of athletes to reach their personal goals whether that may be playing college ball, professionally or finding recreational leagues to continue enjoying the joy of playing sports.
Brian and Mike have developed a web platform that is user friendly for all ages to serve as a forum to continue their sports careers. I want to thank them for trying to help all athletes achieve their goals. I look forward to hearing more from the Level Up Sports community as it continues to grow!
